The NAMCC is run by an Executive Committee (EC) that is elected by
its members. Each of the seven members of the EC serves a two year
term. Vacancies are filled by appointment for the remainder of the
term. In order to facilitate operations, the terms are staggered so
that only three new positions are elected in one year and the
remaining four EC positions are up for election the following year.
Membership to the NAMCC is open to any Muslim person residing in the
Austin and surrounding areas (including Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar
park, Leander, etc), and has paid annual dues of $100 per family. The
organization is governed by constitution and a set of by-laws.
