Inaugurating the Biggest Masjid in Central Texas
Allahuakbar! Allahuakbar! Allahuakbar!
Beautiful gift from Allah for Ramadan to Austin community.
Please join me in inaugurating the biggest masjid in Central Texas – North Austin Muslim Community Center. Allhamdolillah we have completed new masjid work in a record time meeting our expected schedule date of March 2021. Allhamdolillah, today we have got the TCO to use the new masjid.
It brings in 20,500 sq. ft of additional space to existing 9500 sq ft. It was built to accomodate 1750 additional people pre covid. With social distancing we will be able to accommodate 600 people Inshallah. We have library, youth room, baby sitting room, 2 imam office, conference room and executive board room. Passing all inspection in flying colors, we are greatful to Allah to have helped us with the beautiful community who donated generously, worked laboriously and put the best of what they had.
May Allah bless and multiply the reward of all the donors, volunteers and well wishers. May Allah bless the community.
ps: We are remodeling the multipurpose hall that will have main lobby, men wudu and bathroom area, funeral room, multiple classrooms, utility room, server room and multipurpose hall. With its completion our total capacity will be to accommodate 2250.
We are almost there!

Welcome to NAMCC
North Austin Muslim Community Center
Like so many Muslim communities across North America, the North Austin Muslim Community started with just a few worshipers. In 1990, a dozen brothers began praying Friday prayers (Salat al-Jum’ah) in a house on Prairie Dove Circle in Austin, Texas. Soon after, the numbers began to grow.
