About Our Service
Started during COVID-19 in April 2020, our free grocery program has become a cornerstone of community support in Austin. In partnership with Central Texas Food Bank, we distribute free perishable food items to anyone in need.
Run 100% by volunteers, this program is a testament of community coming together in the time of difficulty and choosing to do what is right and NOT what is easy.
How to Get Food
Subscribe
Register for our email list to receive weekly updates and registration links.
How to Subscribe
- Click the “Subscribe Now” button to join our email list
- Confirm your subscription by clicking the link in the confirmation email
- Allow up to 1 week for setup to receive Friday emails
This subscription is required to participate in the program and receive weekly updates about food distribution.
Order
Register every other Friday at 1 PM CST through our ticketing system.
Ordering Guidelines
- Emails sent every other Friday at 1 PM CST
- First come, first served basis through Tickettailor system
- One box feeds a family of 4 for 1 week
- Larger families can register for multiple boxes
Required Information
- Personal details as per Food Bank guidelines.
- Qualifying questions must be answered.
- Consent for information sharing with Food Bank
You’ll receive a confirmation email with a barcode for pickup.
Pick Up
Drive through our marketplace-style pickup on Sunday morning.
Location & Time
- 11900 N Lamar Blvd, Austin, TX 78753. Underground parking lot > Room #4
- Sundays 8:30 AM – 9:00 AM
Pickup Process
- Drive into underground parking (one-way)
- Open your trunk
- Show your order confirmation at first base
- Drive through marketplace-style pickup
- Point to items you want
- Volunteers will load items into your trunk
Please remain in your car during the entire process.
