NAMCC EC & BT 2024 Election Results

Announcement

The NAMCC Election Supervisory Committee (ESC) is pleased to announce the results of the 2024 NAMCC Executive Committee (EC) and Board of Trustees (BT) elections.

After a period of active participation and engagement from our members, the election process has concluded successfully.

 

Election Results

Voter Participation: A total of 110 members out of 595 eligible members cast their votes.

Executive Committee(EC):

The following candidates have been elected to the Executive Committee for the upcoming term:

  • Br. Altaf Khatri

  • Br. Mohammed Sheriff

  • Br. Aijaz Hassan

  • Sr. Saman Akhlaque

  • Br. Malik Saleh

  • Br. Suhel Vahora

  • Br. Ali Al-Yemeni

Board of Trustees(BT):

The following candidates have been elected to the Board of Trustees for the upcoming term:

  • Br. Khaled Akid

  • Br. Muhammed Shafi

  • Sr. Tielli Laoudi

  • Br. Mohammad Rashid Rabbu

  • Br. Adnan Suleiman

Transition and Handover Process

In accordance with the NAMCC Bylaws, Section 7.5, the transition process will run from Dec 15, 2024 through the end of February, during which the current EC will continue in their duties. The newly elected EC/BT members will assume their duties on March 1st, 2025.

Key points of the transition plan include:

  • Collaboration: Current EC members will work closely with the newly elected members to develop and implement a comprehensive transition plan.

  • Checklist: This plan will include essential documentation, authorization signatures, records, data, passwords, and a review of pending issues, as well as the status of current sub-committees and their members.

  • Assumption of Duties: Newly elected EC and BT members will officially assume their duties on March 1st.

  • Training: Both the EC and BT are required to undergo professional leadership training in non-profit management to ensure effective governance and operation.
